eBay vs. Google

So which do you prefer – eBay or Google?

If you are aware of Harry Hill, TV comedian in the UK, “There’s only one way to solve this, fight!”

Returning to reality, I guess it’s a bit of a trick question really – how each of them do different things: –

eBay is great for buying things for other people to cheap prices and Google is the world’s largest search engine.

eBay, as you no doubt have noticed, has been making some significant changes in recent times – with top-rated in this and this. eBay has been making some changes for a few years. Google also has been making some changes, but at a relatively low level.

As someone who uses both a lot, although there are differences.

I must admit I am a big fan of eBay, but in comparison, Google seems to be the company with a much better idea of where it goes and it treats its users and advertisers even better – In my humble opinion, anyway. Google is not without its flaws though, but I think they are better managed and have a long-term future. Just a thought, maybe someday I could Google buy eBay? You never know.
